Thursday Seniors

Tomorrow at 9am the Thursday Senior League has its 2nd event of the season. The league's results can be found here. Note that the second line of that page includes a link to the league's schedule which can also be found here. See you all in the morning and remember to bring your A game. Something to keep in mind: keep your head down, strike the ball cleanly, use the right club (don't underclub).

Tuesday Men: Event 1 results are posted

Just posted the results of the Tuesday Men's League, event one. That would be play scheduled for April 14th that extended through today because of the weather. Today's event, in case you missed it, is also a weather event. We did have eight of the sixty-eight golfers show up and get their rounds in. Wasn't all that bad out there, just a little cool and windy.

Tuesday Men - Event 2 declared a weather event

Just talked with Eric at the golf course who said it's 'freaking cold'. Diane reported the same thing an hour ago when she got back from a trip to the golf course. That, along with an afternoon that promises nothing better and maybe something worse, led to the declaration of event 2 as a 'weather event'. Players have the option to play today or to complete their round anytime before event 3 scheduled for next Tuesday, the 28th.

Tuesday Men - Come on Down!

A little windy and a little cool but maybe we can coax that sun to stay around awhile - like, all day. The combination of the two, the wind and the sun, sure will help to dry things out.

Thought for the day: keep your head down, hit the ball solid, use the right club. Today would be a good day to hit every green in regulation.
