Tuesday League

When do you get to play in Tuesday League? Tuesday!!

The rules (same as last year) state two exceptions:
1. "weather event" allows play to be finished before the next event
2. "conflict" allows play to be completed on Sunday or Monday prior to Tuesday

From the rules:
Tuesday League players may complete their weekly round on Sunday or Monday when they cannot make their regular Tuesday outing because of travel or other conflicting business, medical or family events.  Other than for inclement weather ("declared weather event"), all league play will be completed by Tuesday evening of any particular week.

Come out and enjoy some golf...sign up for the pre-season scramble. I have adjusted the set up for the scramble due to low participation. Last week's players will compete with each other on their 9 holes from last week. Players that sign up for the 9 hole scramble this week will compete for this week's scramble awards.

Open by 8 from here on out weather permitting.

League Players: The optional pre-season scramble can be played anytime during the week. $5.00 entry fee each player. You can team up with any league player (either your intended season teammate or a player from any of the three leagues). Play 9 holes this week and 9 holes next week. 

Lakeview Leagues 2013 Forming

It's time to get your golf clubs out of hibernation, shine them up, stretch out and get back to the golf course.  The Lakeview Golf Course Leagues are just about to get underway for the 2013 season.  All league players are invited to begin with two optional pre-season nine hole scrambles the first two weeks of April.  The Tuesday Men's League and the Thursday Match Play League open play in earnest the week of April 14th, the T-Men on the 16th, the Match Players on the 18th (at 10am).  The Community League returns to a shorter 12 week schedule beginning the week of May 27th.  Detailed information about the leagues can be found at golflakeview.com.  To register your team visit or call the clubhouse at 295-5678 or email golflakeview@gmail.com.

Help! I am looking for three volunteers to help with our three leagues, Tuesday league, Thursday league and Community league. At minimum we need a treasurer to take care of league entry fees, hole prizes and awards. At best we would like three golfers to step up to take care of organizing and running each league.
