Senior League Playoff Pairings
Pairings for the 1st week of the remainder of the season in the Senior League:
Four teams were involved in tie break situations: Lents and Bateman and Anderson and Kavanaugh are tied for 2nd place in the standings: in head to head competition, they played to a 7-7 draw; in most current play (today), Anderson and Kavanaugh had 10.5 points in their match while Lents and Bateman had 4 in theirs. Tie break goes to the team of Anderson and Kavanaugh and thus the #2 spot in the playoffs. The other tie was in position 7 and 8 in the standings: the Byron and Byron team is even with the Brown and Shaw team. In head to head competition, the Byron and Byron team beat the Brown and Shaw team, 8-6, and thus earn the #7 spot in the playoffs. Note: Players who can't make next week's event should make every effort to find a sub to play in their place. Please keep the clubhouse informed.
