Mark Sherer (above) and Curt Johnson claimed the special competitions at Lakeview yesterday in the Tuesday Men's League. Mark had his tee shot at #2 come to rest twenty feet from the pin to win the Long and Accurate competition in a field of twenty-four. This is the second year in a row that Mark has won the Long and Accurate prize in the Tuesday Men's League. Curt Johnson, in a field of twenty aspirants, won the Short and Accurate competition with a shot that was forty-eight feet to the barrel set at the 90 yard line in #2 fairway.
