James Hager had low round carding an impressive 31. He birdied the first 4 holes then made pars on the rest.
Short Jeffers and Joe Allen both eagled number 2, and Mitch Jeffers eagled number 4.

Saturday Manager's Scramble

Stan Hodges and Greg Potts posted a 3 under to dominate the field; only Jr Byron and Noah Callahan came close falling by a stroke at 2 under. Wayne Souerdike/Kevin Byron, Doug Denson/Joe Allen and Larry Hembree/Curt Johnson rounded out the field and hopefully did not spoil a good walk!

Flighted Tournament and scoring

Okay, team and individual scoring continues during the flighted tournament for each of the three leagues! At the end of the last event the champions will be crowned. Thanks to all golfers who helped to confirm what many of you suspected! Kevin and I appreciate your support and understanding; We intend to get this right. 

The rules and previous blog posts are not always clear...hmm, sounds like Dad/Mike for sure!

Tuesday Results

Tuesday league results are posted. Click the link below to view.
Short Jeffers had the low round carding a 32! It included birdies on 4,6,8,9. Pars on 2,3,5,7 and a bogey on number 1. There was a couple eagles out there on Tuesday, one by Curt Johnson on number 4, which helped him card his low round of the year 34! And Mark Sutton on number 6!

Junior Byron had a great round on Thursday posting a 31 with birdies on 2, 4, 6, 9, and the rest pars. Great round of golf.

Tuesday was a great day for golf and I think James Hager would agree. James carded three bridies on 4, 6, and 9 and pars on the rest. Mark Potts, Terry Butcher, and Noah Callahan weren't far behind with even par rounds. I have heard some talk about the flighted tournament that is scheduled to start next week. I am looking into this, and we will get it set up this week.

Saturday morning Manager's Scramble

was won by the D Denson-M Arvin-L Hembree team on the second playoff hole after tying the D Wininger-S Souerdike-C Johnson team with a 4 under after 9 holes of play. Two teams came in at 3 under:  M Kidwell-N Callahan-J Allen and M Seals-G Love-K Byron.  W Souerdike-R Johnson-G Potts covered the rear with a 2 under.

Thursday League Team Tournament

is a two week event beginning August 9th.

Each team's opponent is based on their team standings.

In week one the pairings will be as follows:
Hole 1-1v7....so HudK/ByrJ v sub/Lents
Hole 2-2v8
Hole 4-3v9
Hole 6-4v10
Hole 8-5v11
Hole 9-6v12

In week two the pairings will be as follows (using the updated team standings from the previous week's play):
Hole 1-1v2
Hole 2-3v4
Hole 4-5v6
Hole 6-7v8
Hole 8-9v10
Hole 9-11v12

Saturday Morning Scramble

will continue as normal, 9:00 in the morning.

Tuesday League

Some folks took off before waiting out the rainstorm that hit Tuesday night. Typically you need to hang around to see if the storm passes quickly as it did Tuesday. So...the hole prizes will be awarded to those who completed their rounds. If you have yet to complete your round, this event will be considered a rain event. In the future please wait a bit to see if you can finish your round, Thanks
