After several days of cold and ice, it's easy to jump at the opportunity to rush to the golf course with a turn in the weather. But hold on, not so fast, Jack! Think of what you have been doing; more to the point, think of what you have not been doing. Like using those golfing muscles. So, before you come down with pulls and tears and aches and pains, take some time to think about your golf fitness. And to help us do that, this little reminder from about.com on some exercising you can do right there in your own living room. Or out in the garage or down in the workshop if loving spouse (it is Valentin's Day!) prefers that.
The exercises: Backswing with a dumbbell; and lunge with a club twisting. Go take a look and get yourself ready for the much warmer weather just down the road a piece.
