Doug Denson brought in a copy of the March 22, 1963 issue of Life magazine yesterday. The magazine's cover story was about life on a Polaris sub. Not any Polaris sub but rather the sub that his dad was on. That's Dick Denson with his feet up on the desk in the top photo. If I remember correctly, Dick served over in the Atlantic. I was over in the Pacific at the time, trolling the waters of the Far East on board the LST1166.
