These two pictures show two types of damage on the greens. The top pic is from #2 green; the second pic is from #5 green. One involves an animal; the other the weather. Do you know what causes this damage?
The spot above is most likely from a critter going pee on the green. I did not see it happen, but notice how dead the brown area is yet the ring just around the brown is a darker green; Urine does have nitrogen in it that can burn turf when concentrated, but help turf when in the right amounts. Notice how defined the edges are, whereas in the picture below the edges are not defined.
This picture shows what happens when not enough water hits that area + high temperatures. The sprinkler heads around the greens provide good water coverage for the most part, but high temperatures expose areas that do not get full irrigation.
