Bits and Pieces: Lions Win,

-Lions beat the Cougars last night, 45-37.  Liked what the Lions did in coming back from an early 14-7 deficit.  Liked what Colin Nelson did coming off the bench: took the temperature of the game and then stroked three consecutive three pointers.  Added a drive-down-the-middle lay-in and a foul shot for 12 points.  Very impressive play by the youngster.  Very impressive play by the Lion team in coming back and shutting down their opponents.

-The Big Boys are playing golf over in Hawaii at the Tournament of Champions.  Jonathan Byrd leads Steve Stricker, Webb Simpson, Martin Laird and Michael Bradley by one at six under par.

-Talking about the Big Boys:  How about Elin turning a very expensive mansion into a pile of kindling?!  It's the place she bought for a cool $12 million plus change after the divorce.

-Don't forget - Notre Dame women go up against the UCON women at four this afternoon in South Bend.  Probably be the best game in any sport today.

-Don't forget 2:  Scramble at noon today.
