Substitutes and
No-Shows
Substitutes
are allowed during regular season play.
Team points earned go to the team; individual points earned go to the
substitute. (If
both team members are not present for a team tournament, it will be an automatic forfeit for the
tournament, but scores will still count for regular season play.)
When
only one team member shows for play, a ‘ghost’ substitute will be used. “Ghost” substitutes have a handicap of zero
and score bogeys on the first 5 handicap holes. (Suggest you find a sub. Sub list will be posted on the bulletin
board.)
Weather Event
Arrange with your opponents to complete play within the
next 7 days.
Hole
pries will not be given out for the affected date, but will be doubled on the
next event.
USGA
rules apply and players improperly completing a scorecard will be disqualified
for the event.
Schedule Conflict
Thursday
League teams may complete their weekly round prior to the scheduled event when
they cannot make their regular outing due to travel or other conflicting
business, medical or family events. You must play your round with the
team that you are scheduled to play that week, therefore you must find a
mutually agreed upon time. Please let management know prior to the event. If you are unable to find an agreeable time,
you may get a sub to play for you on Thursday morning, or forfeit your round. Other than for
declared weather event, all league play will be completed by the scheduled
date.
League Entry Fee
$50.00
per individual payable 1st day of play. Fee includes league tournaments, hole prizes,
season end awards and two mixed league scrambles. Fee does not include September Challenge,
whose entry fee is $10.00 per player, $20.00 per team. All league players are eligible for hole
prizes but only during scheduled day of play.
New League Players
New
League players must submit five or more 9 hole scores to get a handicap before
the season starts (scorecards from previous season okay). For those players submitting fewer than 5
scores, a score of 35, for up to five rounds may be placed in the handicap
calculator.
