2018 LEAGUE RULES
1. Play Winter rules: The ball may be rolled up to 6 inches.
2. All of our former out of bounds areas, ie, along
the left side of #1 and along the right side of #5, also the fences behind #1
and along #2, #3, and #5, are now to be played as lateral hazards. Lay out on the line of entry, with a one
stroke penalty.
3. Ditches and the lake are lateral
hazards. Play out or take a drop not
closer to the hole, with a one stroke penalty.
Remember rule #1, no more than 6” roll.
4. Power poles and guy wires are part of
the course. Play the ball from where it
lands.
5. A ball hitting the power lines must
be replayed, without penalty.
6. You may move ball from cart path
without penalty, but no closer to the hole.
You can’t improve your lie though, ie., moving from the rough to the
fairway.
7. Use provided score cards, showing
team number and names of players. Write
in scores and totals and the date of play.
8. Players have one week to contest
reported data.
9. There are no “gimme” putts in League
play.
10. To speed up the pace of play, pick up
your ball when you reach double par.
11. League tournament scores count toward
regular season points, both Team and Individual.
12. Substitutes are allowed during
regular season play. Team points earned
go to the Team, Individual points earned go to the sub. If both team members are not present for a tournament
it will be an automatic forfeit for the tournament but will count for regular
season play.
13. Tuesday League Players may complete
their weekly round on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, prior to the Tuesday event,
when they know they cannot make the regular Tuesday league day, due to travel
or other conflicting business, medical, or family events. Other than for a
declared weather event, all Tuesday league rounds must be played by the scheduled
date for that event.
14. Community League and Ladies League
may play their rounds anytime through the week, but all rounds must be done by
Sunday.
15. Thursday Match Play League is played
at a stipulated time on Thursday morning and against scheduled opponents in
Match Play format. If you are unable to play on Thursday morning, you may get a
substitute to play for you.
16. Course and USGA rules apply unless
otherwise noted.
17. For a League to be fair for everyone,
everyone must play by the same rules. If you have any questions concerning any
rules, please ask.
18. You have the option to take a free
drop out of any bunker, but no closer to the hole.
19. Tuesday League players that are over
the age of 60, have the option of playing from the White tees or Blue tees, but
you must play the same throughout the season.
