It took the full nine holes but Mike Kidwell and Joe Allen again prevailed in their match, this time against Dave Wininger and Dan Steiner. The win gave them the championship of the July Team Tournament in the Tuesday Men's League. The match was all square after three and then again after six holes with Mike and Joe winning a hole, tieing a hole and then losing a hole. The seventh and eighth holes followed the same pattern but then it changed on #9 with Mike and Joe sealing the win with pars while Dave and Dan could only manage bogeys.
