Senior Play on a Monday Highlighted by Diane Bird and Terry LaMar

Several of the Senior League teams came out yesterday and completed their matches that were postponed because of last Thursday's stormy forecast. In one of the more exciting matches, the most exciting I would guess, Diane Bird and Terry LaMar (subbing for Wilma Bateman) took on Vic Wallace and Mike McLaughlin. Diane and Terry came to the last hole (#6) down two strokes in the total net score and even on the holes (four each). Diane then chipped it in from off the green for a birdie (Holy Cow!) and Terry ran a putt in off the collar for a par (Holy Cow 2!). Vic and Mike must have been stunned and finished with a bogey and a double bogey to lose both the match (5-4) and the total net score (69-67) and give Diane and Terry a 10-4 win on the day. My oh my.
