-Natalie Gulbis is in the SI Swimsuit issue. Didn't know that till I saw it headlined at golfbabes.com. Can think of several other lady golfers I would like to see there as well. You? If you want to do a little more research on this, try si.com.
-Jeff Skinner at linkslifegolf.com thinks Tiger has to learn how to win again. He again quotes Phil Mickelson, who, on Sunday, said Tiger's "game can change in a week". Well, he really doesn't need a week - he's getting through the first three days just fine. It's that Sunday close he's having trouble with and that started before his Thanksgiving Week troubles of 2009. For sure it was the putter that let him down this last Sunday. Would hazard to guess that that's true of many of his 'Sunday meltdowns'. Solution: Spend equal time with a putting guru and a sports psychologist. Maybe he's already doing that.
-Wonder if Dick Lemmon is back? He was heading down to Florida for a week or so and while there he was going to take some more golfing lessons. Imagine he is anxious to get back out to Lakeview and try out his new skill set. He's been working hard on his golf game these last two years. Would not be surprised to see his handicap drop another three or four strokes this year.
-Did you notice Wayne Pearl in one of my arena collages last week? He's back on his feet after some more work on his heart. He's now fitted with something that looks like a couple of holsters around his waist that somehow keeps his heart going. He's limited at the moment though back on his feet and getting out. Expects to be back doing some limited reffing and umping in the not too distant future. He'll be taking a sabbatical from golfing while he recovers more fully.
-Snow today. Good day to do some more tax work. Eric just drove up to do just that.
