Lents and Wallace Lead Scramble Win

In the Saturday Morning Manager's Scramble, the C and D team of Jack Lents and Vic Wallace shot an even par to trounce by three strokes the team of Curt Johnson and Bryant Trambaugh. Meanwhile, their AB partners Mike Bird and Kevin Byron held Chuck Baker and Junior Byron at bay, each team coming in at 34. That gave the Lents/Wallace/K.Byron/Bird team a combined score of 69 to a 72 for the Johnson/Trambaugh/Baker/JrByron team. The group played the par threes unusually well with ten pars and only two bogeys.
