Eric taking out a hazard just off #6 green. The dry and hot weather has reduced the grass growth to almost nothing - harder fairways, softer greens, lower scores - or one would hope so. Scramble in a little bit. Would be nice to have 16 golfers - would pair up the A and B players and the C and D players and send them out as foursomes. Making the par threes a play-your-own-ball task has involved each of the golfers much more than the old fashioned scramble ever did - to my way of thinking. Looking for ways to involve them even more. Suggestions?
