Mike Bird and Wayne Souerdike shot a bogey free round of four under in the Saturday Morning Scramble at Lakeview yesterday. That earned them a place in a playoff with James Hager and Paul Hart who birdied the last two holes to get to four under. After straight forward pars on the first overtime hole, the Bird/Souerdike team managed a par after a drive into the sandtrap guarding the green. The Hager/Hart team, after a drive way left and on a severe downslope, pitched to just off the back side of the green from where they three putted for a bogey. During regulation, Hager and Hart had five birds, including the two at #8 and #9, but also found a bogey at hole #3. Dave Wininger and Joe Allen shot a minus two which included three birds and a bogey while Kevin Johnson and Curt Johnson also shot a minus two in a round that included an eagle, three birds and three bogeys.
