Easter Monday Rain and the Masters

Yucky day so far down here in Loogootee and doesn't look like it's going to get much better. Will open the golf course if it does.

Watched most of the Masters yesterday. Really enjoyed the Tiger-Phil shootout which was great for sixteen holes. Too bad they couldn't have carried it all the way to the end and really put the pressure on the leaders. Felt sorry for the 'old guy', Kenny Perry, who faltered after hitting that super shot on sixteen for a tap in birdie. Painful to watch. On the other side, you gotta feel good about what Angel Cabrera did after shooting himself in the foot with his drive and then stabbing himself in the back with his second shot - the one that hit the tree and put him back out in the fairway with an approach shot not all that much closer than the other two had with their second shots. But he stuck it within six feet and made the par putt to move on and then win it easily on the second playoff hole. Good stuff down in Augusta.
