Richard Swayze and Dave Brown Win Preseason Scramble

Seniors Richard Swayze and Dave Brown teamed up to win the Lakeview Golf Course Senior preseason scramble. The duo shot a gross 37 with a net 30.00 to edge the team of Jack Butcher and Rex Hudson by a scant third of a shot. Jack and Rex equaled Richard and Dave's 37 but had a handicap that was slightly less. Hole prize winners for the event, which had a total of ten teams, were Jack Butcher and Wayne Pearls for longest first putts, and Rex Hudson and Junior Byron for closest to the pin shots.
