As of Monday evening, all but two of the 68 players signed up for the Tuesday Men's League have played their first round events, or had subs stand in for them. At the top of the Team standings sit the Templin /Nolan team (Chad Wade subbed for Don Nolan the first week) with 64 points. Weston Muessig and Derek Gilbertson are in second place with 62 points, while Terry Butcher and Joe Doyle (Jeff Doyle filling in for his dad) are in third at 60 points. In the Individual standings, we have a three way tie at 128 points: Bric Parker, with his new clubs, and a couple of super subs, Chad Wade and Jeff Doyle. Jeff had a most unusual round with three birdies, one par and a quaddruple bogey to his credit.
Tomorrow is event two and the completion of the Team Tournament I (team points leaders at the end of the first two events claim the prize). Six hole prizes are set out: long first putts at holes number four, six and eight; and close to the pin shots on holes number three, seven and nine.
