Tracy Rayhill, Greg Potts, Buck Holland and Doug Denson heading on in after finishing nine holes. Tracy chose to take the option to play league later. The other three finished with a collective five over, not all that bad considering the wretched conditions. Buck shot even par for the round and Greg came in at just one over.
Jim Murphy bundled up against the cold but didn't think it was all that bad; even got himself a par on the first hole which he thought was awfully darn good. His playing partner, Rob Sterling, was dressed for the weather and even managed to claim a chip in birdie from sixty to seventy feet (or was it yards?) on #6.
Bryant Trambaugh did as Tracy did but went out with Tyler Walton. Here the two of them are approaching #6. The two of them did manage pars on #7 but for the most part played a forgettable nine holes. However, Bryant made the turn and went out for some more fun in the wind, the wet and the cold.
Jeremy Wildman, back in league after a brief hiatus, tried to loft one over the tree here going into #4. He came in at three over on his round. His partner and last year's champion, Noah Callahan, had a horrendus day and probably wished he had stayed home and watched a replay of any Cubs game while sipping a cup of hot chocolate.
Tweleve of the sixty some golfers made it out on Tuesday to get their rounds in. Conditions were wet, cold, windy and otherwise pretty miserable so a deserved hats off to the gents who got it all started. The rest of the league's golfers have the luxuary of getting their rounds in anytime before they start event #2 next Tuesday.
