Reminder: Both the Tuesday Men's League and the Thursday Senior League open their seasons this week. Each league will hold a pre-season two person scramble with the Tuesday Men playing anytime on Tuesday, April 7th, and the Thursday Seniors getting together for a 9:00am tee off on Thursday, the 9th. Area golfers are invited to come out and join these leagues which play weekly in both team and individual competition through the second week of September.

Saturday Scramble Results: April 4th: Mike Kidwell and Tracy Rayhill fired a nifty three under par to best three other twosomes. Mike Kidwell stuck a shot to twenty inches on #3, with Tracy dropping the putt for a birdie, and then a strike to fifteen feet on #6 which led to his own putt dropping for an eagle in leading his team to the victory. At even par in the nine hole game were the teams of Trenton Kidwell and Mike Bird along with Dave Wininger and Kevin Byron. Tyler Kidwell and Curt Johnson came in with a score of plus one. The Kidwell/Rayhill team finished with one eagle, three birdies, three pars and a pair of bogeys. Getting the most pars at seven was the team of Trenton Kidwell and Mike Bird. The roller coaster award went to Dave Wininger and Kevin Byron with their start of bogey-birdie-bogey-birdie. One other note: each of the four teams failed to get par on the first hole, each coming in with a five. Call it early season jitters.
