Harlen Byron recreating the shot at #7 that got him his second career ace.
Harlen "Jr" Byron decided not to play in the Lakeview Saturday Morning Scramble on May 2nd but did come out just after noon to play nine holes with his son Kevin. An unremarkable round changed to a memorable one when Junior hit a controlled nine iron at #7 which covered the ninety-three yards, taking two bounces along the way, then hitting the flagstick and dropping into the hole. Son Kevin reported that the ball indeed did go into the hole to his temporarily silent dad. Junior used a Nike Karma ball (the ball that brings "good karma to golfers") and hit it with his Dynacraft Gray Shadow nine iron. This is Junior's second ace and comes just over ten years since the first one. Congratulations on your second hole-in-one, Junior.
