Beautiful day for golf; grounds are drying up nicely and ball should run just a little; greens are just fine though four, six and seven showing the results of the hydraulic fluid spill of a few weeks ago - dead grass - does not seem to affect the roll all that much but if you think it's going to affect yours, by all means, take relief.
A little history: Ten years ago, Bob Panko had the low net round of the day with a 28. JD Faris and Terry Padgett had 30's. Phil Eyler had the low gross with a 35 while Scott Hickman and Terry Padgett carded 36's. Mike Albertson and Don Johnson were atop the team standings and Don Nolan led the individual competition.
Today, Tony Wease, Buck Holland, Derek Gilbertson and Kevin Byron are in the top four positions in individual competition. (Have you noticed that handicaps are starting to go down with all the good scores of the past few weeks?) Team standings have Weston Muessig and Derek Gilbertson tied with Buck Holland and Doug Denson at the top.
Come on down, Tuesday Men, and give it all one more shot. And then another, and another, till you get your nine holes in. And, of course, have fun along the way.
