With just nine holes to play in the Individual Handicapped Tournament, Jim Bateman and Susan Fee stand at the top of the leaderboard, each at ten under par. Within striking distance are Rex Hudson at nine under and Pam Byron at eight under. The final nine holes will be played this coming Thursday.
In regular season play, Frank Fee got himself an eagle when he chipped in one at #4 in a round of 38 and the low net of the day at 29. Mike Anderson had the low gross of the day at 36 which included a birdie and six pars. Low net team score of the day was turned in by Frank and Susan Fee at eight under par. Hole prizes were claimed by Jack Lents, Jack Butcher and Al Kavanaugh. Jim and Wilma Bateman continue at the top of the team standings with an 11 to 3 win over John Chapman and Dick Barber. The Fees stayed closed, four points back, with a same score win over their opponents, Clyde Wake and Terry LaMar. Wayne Pearl took over the top spot in the individual competition with a round of 41 gross and a net 33. He is closely followed by Mike Bird, John Chapman and Jim Bateman, at four, five and six points apiece. The group averaged 45.30 for the day, a drop of 1.6 strokes from the previous week and the new low of the season.
