-Week 3 of the Individual Handicapped Tournament. Kevin Byron still has the rest of the crew at his back and, yes, that worries him a bit. Dad Junior tells him to worry about him and him alone (pretty good advise). Fourteen players within five shots of the lead including Mike Kidwell who sits in second place poised to do a bunch better than his five handicap would indicate. Guess it's the time to look at the handicaps and see who is capable of shooting four or five under the next two weeks. Count Mike in with his five (this week) but also Kevin Byron with his nine. No predictions from me - way too many players still very much in the hunt. Got a guess? Put it in the comments.
-Wonder if a zero handicapper has ever led the league before? Got one now - Doug Denson who moved to a zero just this last week and also moved to the top of the standings. Only one other zero guy this week, Mark Potts.
-Course is lush with new grass and soft with the recent rains. And more rain in the neighborhood today. Be prepared and be ready for a slight delay if we get a bit more of the wet stuff.
