Stan Graber, Lee Wininger, Kevin Byron and Tyler Kidwell at #1 in OT.
Tyler Kidwell sinking a five foot putt at #3 to extend the match.
Mike Bird, Stan Graber and Lee Wininger won the Saturday Morning Scramble over Tyler Kidwell, Wayne Souerdike, Curt Johnson and Kevin Byron. The nine hole scramble went to overtime as both teams finished at -1. After each team made routine pars at the first extra hole, #1, things got a little dicey at #2. Wayne Souerdike chipped from 40 yards out to a foot of the pin for a gimme birdie for their team. The Bird/Graber/Wininger team left their chip well shy of the hole and had a twenty foot putt to convert to force a third extra hole. Lee Wininger promptly did that, draining the team's first putt. The two teams again traded pars at hole #3 with Tyler Kidwell making a nifty five foot putt to extend the match. On the fourth extra hole, #9, each team missed the green and were chipping for the win. Bird, Graber and Wininger were successful in getting up and down with a chip to within a foot of the hole while Kidwell, Souerdike, Johnson and Byron chipped to within five feet and were unable to get the tying putt into the hole.
