Bits and Pieces for a Easter Morning

Photo: One of our friendly geese sitting on a bunch of hugh Easter eggs up by #6 green - up in the honey locoust trees.

-Butler and Duke will duke it out tomorrow night after sterling wins on an Easter Saturday. Think there will be any blue in the stands? Go Butler Blue!

-Michelle Wie playing very steady golf - three 71's and three under for the Ladies first major out at Mission Hills. Tied for ninth heading into today's final round with Karen Stupples leading the pack at ten under. And I think I remember seeing that CBS is televising the show this afternoon.

-Trenton Kidwell missed out on making it three in a row with yesterday's Saturday Scramble being wiped out with the rain. Expect he'll go for it next week.

-The rain didn't last much after that washout of the scramble and the course filled with golfers on a more than lovely day.

-League season opening directly. Everybody ready?

-Speaking of ready: Hope Tiger wins by fifteen down at Augusta later this week.

-Happy Easter, all you good people out there.
