Go here to see what the Tuesday Men's League rules have to say about 'rain events'.
During the heavier part of the storm, around 4 pm, all players on the course came off the course, leaving rounds to be finished at a later time. Junior and Kevin Byron came out a little later when there was a break in the rains and did get their rounds in - I went along just for fun. Even with the early light drizzle and then the heavier drizzle, the two of them did very well, Junior coming in with a 36 and Kevin a 44 which gave them a combined 6 under for their rounds.
Bob Norris, near 85 years old, showed up for his Community League initial event with Clyde Wake, an 83 year old. Bob found himself a birdie on #9, rolling in a 6' putt. First time in several years he has had a birdie. He also found that the drier fairways were giving his drives a much appreciated roll.
