Scramble Results: Wininger, Gilbertson and Allen Winners

Dave Wininger, Derek Gilbertson and Joe Allen shot even on the par threes and managed birdies at holes four, six, eight and nine to post a winning score of 41 in Saturday's Manager's Scramble. Dave's iron play at both eight and nine were instrumental in the birdie barrage. A 30 foot putt by Doug Denson at #1 wasn't enough to propel the second place team of Doug, Mike Bird and Kevin Byron who came in at 43. Reports came in that Joe Doyle was 'on fire' during the first several holes but that wasn't enough as he and his teammates, Mike Kidwell, Curt Johnson and Bryant Trambaugh, came in with a humbling 47. Trenton Kidwell was happy to see that his team, which included Wayne Souerdike and Tony Wease, did not have to be the only ones with a 47.

In play after the scramble, Doug Denson and Curt Johnson, with a score of 34, won out over the teams of Mike Kidwell/Derek Gilbertson (40) and Trenton Kidwell/Mike Bird (36) in a modified six-six-six challenge played out over nine holes.
