Kevin Byron came out and played early with Junior’s sub, Dave Brown, found a lot of fours including one on #6 for a birdie, and shot his best round ever, a 40 and a net 28. He and Dave combined for a net 62. Gary LaMar and Virgil Harper had themselves a super day, coming in with scores of 42 and 43 and a net team total of 62, the second one of the day. (Course playing easy?) Phil Eyler: eight pars and a birdie on #2; 34 gross, 34 net. Trenton Kidwell got out early cause of a day trip to Holiday World, found a double bogey on three but then birdied six and eight to go along with six pars to turn in a round of 35. Bill Carrico, who knew that his 59 placed last five years ago, birdied the first hole and went on to card a 45, a net 32; playing partner Keith Parsons shot a 47 with a net 31. Terry Butcher birdied #2 and #6 and six pars to shoot a 34; both he and partner Joe Doyle shot net 33’s. Alan Burch had a stretch of birdie, birdie, eagle from hole two through four and even par on the rest for a brilliant 31 gross and a net 27.
Of note: Tyler Kidwell and his wife have a baby girl named Riley, born last Friday. Jason Rominger is getting married this weekend.

Update: Final standings for Team Tournament II are posted. Congrats to Alan Burch and TJ McAtee who traded super outings the last two weeks to propel their team to a tie with Terry Butcher and Joe Doyle at 89 points for the Team Tournament II trophy. Buck Holland and Doug Denson came in third a mere point behind the leaders. Trenton Kidwell and Chris Bledsoe got the fourth spot with a total of 80 points.
