History Lesson: Five years ago today, John Foddrill led the pack with Warren Atkison, Junior Byron, Tim Voegerl and Wayne Souerdike close on his heels. Mark Jeffers shot a 34, Doug Denson a 35 and Phil Eyler a 36. Both Mark and Doug had three birdies on the night. Stewart Blake, Ed David and Mark Jones dragged in the caboose. Mark Jones has knocked ten plus strokes off of his game in the last five years - can't think of anyone doing better.
Back to now: Course is in great shape, weather is cooperating with mild temperatures and sunny skies, and the bugs have gone their merry way though the non-biting-stay-around-your-cart little beasties did make an appearance last night. Should be a good day for scores to tumble yet again. Would expect more than have the group to get net par and better. Is there a 30 or a 31 out there today? I wouldn't be surprised though Eric has not been timid about pin placement, especially on Tuesdays. You have noticed that, haven't you? Come on down and have fun with your game and your buddies.
