Mike Arvin Claims F&W Pro Am Victory

The rainy Sunday morning washed out the scheduled annual Fields and Wininger Pro Am Tournament, an event that has been going on forever and a day here at Lakeview. In spite of the foul conditions, Mike Arvin, one of the stalwarts of the group, showed up ready to play. Once he heard that the event had been cancelled, he immediately went to the tee box, hit a single shot, and claimed victory in the event as the only one who actually participated. Expect the other Fields and Winingers will have an appropriate reward for his perseverance and bravado.
