Bits and Pieces for a Saturday Morning

-Notre Dame basketball team loses to WVU in a close one last night - 53-51. Having some success with their slowed down offense - lets see if it will get them past the first game in the big dance.

-Golf with Jack Butcher, Jack Lents and Ken Hudson yesterday. Eighteen holes - we would have remained dry if we had played just fifteen holes. Jack Lents the big winner when he went on a rampage from holes 13 through 16 with three skins and two flags on three pars and a birdie - all this with a bum left wing that gave him a whatfor every time he swung a club. Games are whipping into shape nicely with more and more good shots and fewer of those 'where-did-that-come-from' variety.

-Note to Tiger: Make the decision, TW, and let the world know when you're coming back. We're ready for you. More than ready.

-Boys Regional basketball action today at Loogootee: Barr Reeve plays Tecumseh in the first game and NE Dubois plays Lanesville in the second. If records are any indication, it should be Barr Reeve and Lanesville in the final tonight. Expect the Vikings to move on to semi-state. First game starts at 10:30. Go, Barr Reeve.
