Bits and Pieces for a Wednesday Morning

-Tiger back at the Masters.  Surprising to me.  No rust?  I don't remember his road to the US Open in 2008 - was that his first competition since surgery?  If so, I would say that he has a chance to win at the Masters (of course).  But then his return after his father's death at the British Open - disaster - he didn't even make the cut.  In any case, very glad that he has made the decision and is coming back.  And why not start with a first place finish?!

-Filled out my bracket (NY Times) for the Big Dance and have Kentucky winning it all.  The number ones all make it to the final four.  Expect Kansas to be playing KY for the championship.  And, no, I did not pick the favorites in each of the matches: 2 upsets in round 2 and 3 in round 3.  Admission: This is an off the wall prediction done with little knowledge and even littler research.  If that sounds like maybe I guessed a lot, well, yes, I did.  Fun to be part of it and my odds of being right are better than the lottery, right?  That's not saying much.

-Curt Johnson, Tracy Rayhill and Bric Parker gave it a go late yesterday afternoon.  Bric took them to the cleaners even though of the three of them he has been out the least.  Fresh, I guess.  Mike and Trenton Kidwell also got nine in late.  The Fees and the Henrichsen's made it out and Joe Gray made an appearance for the first time this year.

-Another beautiful day  in front of us.  Eric is going down to Dr. Norris to have his knee scoped so he won't be in today.  Diane is up cat sitting in Bloomington.  I'll tend the store and get my game back in shape.
