Bits and Pieces

-Saturday's Scramble: Trenton Kidwell and Gary Knepp complemented each other and stormed to a three stroke win in Saturday's scramble.  They circled the course in three under and beat Cory and Tracy Rayhill, who came in at even par for their round, and Mike Kidwell and Mike Bird who finished at 36.  The win gives Trenton wins in the first two events of the season, paralleling Ai Miyazato of the LPGA tour who also opened with successive triumphs.

-Boys Basketball: Congratulations to Trester Award winners Christian Duncheon of Barr Reeve and Ethan Hunsinger of Washington.  Though Washington and Cody Zeller brought home the state title, the Vikings fell to a super Bowman Academy team.

-The Big Dance: Go Butler!  They beat Kansas State yesterday in a humdinger of a game.  My pick to win it all, Kentucky, fell by the wayside to a pretty good West Virginia team.  Duke and Michigan State should win later today to join Butler and West Virginia in Indy next week.
