-Els wins second straight down at Arnie's place. On a roll. Will he be a factor at Augusta?
-Wie given a two shot penalty for grounding her club in a hazard on the 11th hole Sunday, finishes tied for 6th at Kia. Michelle and penalties seem to collide all too often and usually with disastrous effects. Much discussion on her action, again detracting from a hugh win by another brilliant player from South Korea - Hee Kyung Seo (here's a photo from Seoul Sisters).
-Watched the ND women lose in OT to the Oklahoma women Sunday evening. Super freshman Skylar Diggins tied it in regulation with a three pointer but then one of the Sooners seniors, Nyeshia Stevenson, sunk a three from the corner to bury the Irish in OT. Oh, woe is me.
-MSU and Duke did advance to the final four with wins Sunday. Go Butler.
-Speaking of the Final Four: Diane is flying out of Indy to Seattle next Monday morning and couldn't understand why everything is booked solid and that even parking spots at the airport were needing reservations and early payment. I'll be delivering her to the airport at the earlier-than-the-early-bird time of 5am.
-On putting and the transfer of knowledge: Did practice some last night at the golf course, making a special effort on the green to draw that line from the cup to beyond the back of the ball so as to make sure my back stroke started out on a straight line. Made a difference though it's definitely not what my hands wanted to do. Note to self: keep at it until it becomes second nature (or something like second nature - learned behavior that needs a constant reminder).
Tip for the day: Go golf - it's gonna be beautiful.
