The Mountaineers beat Georgetown, 39-32, to reach the Monday night semi-finals. St. John's beat Louisville in OT, 68-61, and will face UCON, winners over Rutgers, 49-34, a team they have already beat this year, in the other semi-final match. St. John's has a nine game winning streak, UCON has the home court, West Virginia already has a win against ND, and ND is the Big East champion and highest ranked (at #3). Should be a fun Monday night.

Gritty finish by The Kid with up and downs on holes 16 and 17 and an easy fairway-approach-approach-two-putt-for-par on the 18th hole. Amazing -8 round for TW with a sterling birdie-eagle finish that looked like the old Tiger. Best closing round ever for Tiger - too bad it came up short of a victory.
-Lions (18-4) will play Evansville Dei (20-3) at noon in the Loogootee regional next Saturday. The two other teams will be determined Monday night in storm delayed sectional championships with Hauser taking on Shawe Memorial and Orleans playing Northeast Dubois to advance to the regional. Go Lions.
