-Irish women go for a 4th straight win against the UCON Huskies tonight. Both teams blew away their opponents last night: ND 73, WVU 45; UCON 74, SJU 43. Each team has 'swagger'.
-See that Tiger has put his name down for Arnie's tournament. Great! The guy is playing more golf. Just watched the video of his last two shots on Sunday - what a great shot from the fairway - you did hear him admit that it went a little more right than he planned. Turned out just about perfect.
-Golf's world rankings here. Rory at #1 (like you haven't heard!), Phil at #12, TW at #16. Anybody figure out how quickly Tiger can move up? Guess what he said years ago still counts - just win and the rankings will take care of themselves. The Kid is doing just that - or at least contending week in and week out.
-Did you notice that the Lions and Evansville Day had some common opponents (Shoals, Wood Memorial, Vincennes Rivet) this year, each of whom they handled easily? Btw, Borden and Orleans won their sectionls last night and will face each other in the other early game on Saturday here in Loogootee. Sagarin rankings for the four schools: Loogootee 88; Orleans 121; Borden 135; Evansville Day 233. (Barr-Reeve 76)
-Golf later today - it's already 50 degrees here on the hill. Still see snow out there.
