-Found out that there is some confusion about the 'Mixed League Scrambles' starting this Sunday. The 'mixed' refers to the fact that both the Tuesday Men and the Thursday Match League players are involved and invited to participate (entry fees are included for those signing up as league members - subs fee: $2 per 9 hole scramble). The scramble can be played anytime during the week from Sunday through Saturday though would expect the bulk to be played on Tuesday (by Tuesday Men) and on Thursday (at 10am by Thursday Match players) - but, again, anytime during the week is fine. If you are playing in each league, your entry fee is already paid for a scramble team from each league.
-Women's basketball: Two #1 seeds going to Denver. Baylor beat Tenn (77-58) and Stanford beat Duke (81-69) last night to advance to the Final Four. UCon and ND get their tickets punched tonight, maybe. UCon has to go through Kentucky and the Irish must deal with Maryland. Two of the five espn experts predict that ND will fall to Maryland, the only two votes going against a #1 seed. A little disrespect for the Notre Dame women?
