Bird and Graber Take Saturday Morning Scramble with a Tiebreaker

Mike Bird and Stan Graber fired a four under nine hole round of 31 to tie Mark Potts and Greg Potts in Saturday's scramble at Lakeview with the tiebreaker going to the Bird/Graber team.  The winning twosome had birdies at #4 and #8 and an eagle at #6 where, after Graber's fairway shot used a fortuitous tree deflection to get just off the backside of the green, Bird used an 8 iron to chip it in for an eagle.  Potts and Potts had five birds on their round but found a bogey at #3, one that cost them the trophy.  Three other twosomes competed in the Saturday morning event with Travis Brett and Steve Qualkenbush carding a 32, Dave Wininger and Kevin Byron a 33, and Short Jeffers and Joe Allen a 36.
