Bits and Pieces

-Michelle Wie fired a two under and finishes at -3 in a tie for 12th at the LPGA Hana Bank Championship in Incheon.  Na Yeon Choi won with a three day total of 206, ten under par.  The world's #1 player, Cristie Kerr, was right there with the Wie Lass in a tie for 12th.

-Recap of the 24 hours from Friday night to Saturday night:

*North Daviess loses at Perry Central when they miss a point after with three and a half minutes to play.
*Joe Allen and I lose the Saturday Morning Scramble when Larry Hembree and Stan Graber go bananas on approach shots and putts.
*Notre Dame makes Tulsa a winner (another one of those 'biggest-wins-ever!) in South Bend by throwing an interception in the end zone with 42 seconds to play and only needing a field goal from a guy who has hit something like a gazillion in a row to win.
*The Barr Reeve V-ballers lose their semi-state match against Indy Luthern after racing to a 2-0 lead up in Odon last night.

Jeesh.

Wait a minute.  The Rangers did win down in Texas last night.  And, of course, there was the Michelle Wie sort of positive note.  And, we do have Sunday and the K of C scramble to look forward to.  That takes place at 10am - just a little bit from now.  So, on with it.
