Bits and Pieces

-Irish win over Boston College in the Catholic Bowl.  Second year in a row the Irish have won after losing to BC in what seemed like forever.

-Colts lose:  Figured they left too much time on the clock with the Jags long kicker.  Nice final drive by Manning and his boys - clutch.

-Ryder Cup just decided.  Hunter Mahan unable to do what Ricky Fowler did - win the last couple of holes to halve the match and keep the Cup on this side of the pond.  Tiger and Phil have good days.  Too bad that's noteworthy.  Maybe next year we'll see the world's #1 and #2 play with a little more consistency and excellence.

-Congrats again to the September Challenge winners, John Drake and Tom McAtee.  Fun tournament.

-Will try a Tuesday afternoon scramble tomorrow.  Five o'clock start.
