Bits and Pieces

-Just opened up espn.com, the golf section, and lo and behold Rocco Mediate is back in the news!  He's the leader down at the Frys.com Open.  (So, what is Frys.com?)

-Brittany Lincicome leads the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge out in Danville, CA.  She's at 11 under and leads Wendy Ward by 4 strokes.  No Michelle Wie in this tournament.

-We did have a measurable rain out at the golf course the other day - a quarter inch of that rare commodity of the last several months.  Fairways remain dry and hard - still lots of run.  The greens, with the cooler weather, have not needed to be as heavily watered as during the hotter days, and have become faster - does take an adjustment.

-Tomorrow's scramble will start at 10am because of the dip in the temperatures tonight - supposed to get down to 35.  You could use that extra hour to take somebody out to breakfast at the Lake, or the Corner Cafe.

-Will be going to the volley ball game tonight - the Lions play South Knox.

-Time for breakfast.
