Terry and Colin Padgett won the July Match Play Tournament and also tied for the low net team round of the week in the Tuesday League. The pair joined Noah Callahan and Mark Potts in shooting 65's. Noah also had the low net round for an individual with a 30 on a gross of even par 35. James Hager, on the strength of eagles at holes four and six, posted the low gross round of 32. Claiming hole prizes on the day were Karry Stoll, Noah Callahan and Tom Walker with close to the pin shots. Long putt prizes went to Tom Trambaugh (two of them!) and Tim Voegerl.
John Walker and Skip Ackerman shot a net 68 and received 37 points for a total of 558 for the season. The two remained on top of the team standings. In second place is the team of Tracy Rayhill and Greg Potts while Curt Johnson and Tyler Walton are in third, eleven and twelve points behind the leaders. Each of those two teams shot net 66's and claimed 48 points on the day. Dan Jones took over first place in the individual standings. He shot a gross 38, a net 34 and earned 77 points for his efforts. The group's gross average score for the day was 41.53, about the same as last week's 41.64, and near the season's low of 41.46 posted two weeks ago.
