New leaders at the top of the team standings as Danny Jones and Lonnie Hawkins fired a net 67 on the day, earned 46 points and now lead second placers Curt Johnson and Tyler Walton by five points with a total of 584. Last week's leaders, Skip Ackerman and John Walker, shot a five over par 75, earned just five points and tumbled to fourth place in the standings. In the individual standings, Danny Jones finds himself on top for the second week in a row. He posted a gross 37, net 33 and earned 93 points for his efforts and has a total of 1146 points for the season. John Drake, with a 41 gross, a net 32 and 108 points for the day, is in second place at 1076 points while Jordan Divine, who posted a gross 40 and a net 37, is in third with 1066 points. Terry LaMar dropped his second shot at #1 within six feet of the flag and won the special hole prize being offered for the day. Forty-five players competed for the prize. In the regular hole prizes, Mike Seals won both a close to the pin, at #3, and a long putt at #6 to lead the sharpshooters. Others included Doug Denson and Brent Courter with long putts, and TJ McAtee and Curt Johnson with close to the pin shots. Low scores for the day were shot by Mark Potts with a gross 34 and Bryant Trambaugh with a net 27. Bryant and his playing partner Mike Breeden had the low net team score, a 61. Average gross score for the group was 41.80, up just a bit from last week's 41.53.
Of note: Mike Seals, Mark Potts and Jon Boyd all had three birdies in their rounds. No eagles on the day. Bryant Trambaugh's 36 was his best round ever.
