Tuesday Men - Come on Down!

Another glorious summer day for golf - hot and sunny and dry.  Remember to hydrate during the day - come to the golf course and all the heat prepared.

Special competitions today - $1 entry fee for each - winner takes the pot:

-Long and Accurate at #2 - closest to the pin with the first shot - ball does not have to be on the green.  Tee blocks are moved way up - fly it or bump and run - yes - fairways are still dry and hard.

-Short and Accurate at #7 - closest to the pin with first shot - on the green (as usual).

-Other hole prizes as usual.

With two weeks to go in the season, the top spots are up for grabs.  Would say that the top ten in each competition is pretty much in the running. 

Coming up after the regular season concludes - the September Challenge.  That three event (scramble, alternate shot, best ball), two person game is interleague this year and players can get their round in anytime during the week rather than just on the league day (though expect most will still use their day for the competition).  League players and subs are eligible for the competition.

Mantra for today's golfing: Choose the right stick, make a good swing.  Come on down and enjoy the game, guys.
