Community League Recap Event 1

New members to Lakeview's Community League quickly made their mark this past week as the summer league had their initial event of the season.  Emanuel Wagler and Adrian Graber shot a low team net of 61 to take the lead in the team standings with a total of 28 points.  Short and Shirley Jeffers, experienced Community League members, shot a net 67 to take second place in a competition that includes fifteen teams this year.  Emanuel Wagler and Short Jeffers lead the individual standings as each shot net 30's on the week.  Adrian Graber and Rob Graber are tied for third after shooting net 31's.  The low gross score for the week goes to Short Jeffers who came in with a one under par 34.  Ken Wagler was second with a 37.  This past week was also the first week of the four week Individual Handicapped Tournament for the league with Jeffers and Wagler taking the early lead.  Average gross score for the 30 players in the league was 43.40.
