Pam and Junior Byron Win May Challenge

Pam and Junior Byron completed Lakeview's May Challenge with a net score of 155.67, 20.33 strokes from par, to win the initial running of the four game event.  The two had the low net score in the alternate shot portion of the tournament and placed second in the best ball and scramble portions.  Second place in the tournament was claimed by Dave Brown and Dick Lemmon with a score 155.67, same as the winners but 19.33 strokes from par with the one stroke difference in the par scores for men and women.  Low net scores for the individual events were: Phil Roberts' and Vic Wallace's 29 in the best ball; Virgil Harper's and Gary LaMar's 25.67 in the scramble; the Byron's 30.33 in the alternate shot; and a four way tie at 63 for the individual stroke - Brown and Lemon, Jack Lents and Mike Bird, Tom Walker and Mike Bird, and Skip Ackerman and John Walker.  Comnplete scores here.
