Short Jeffers shot his second consecutive 34 to lead all scorers in the Community League's second event this past week. The score gave him a net 31, a low he shared with Noah Callahan and Jeremy Graber. Jeffers' low scores and fast start gave him the top positions in the League's Individual competition and also the lead at the midway point in the 36 hole Individual Handicapped Tournament at nine under par. Noah Callahan, Adrain Graber, Jeremy Graber and Emanuel Wagler all share the second spot in the tournament with scores of minus seven. In the league's team competition, the Emanuel Wagler-Adrian Graber duo again beat all competition with a net score of 65 and extended their lead at the top by six points with a total of 56. Ken Wagler and Jeremy Graber slipped into second place with a 25 point effort this past week, shooting a net 66, while Stan Graber and Ryan Graber, who fired a net 69, remained in third place after scoring 22 points on the week. They are 12 points behind the leaders. The 30 players in the league had an average gross score of 43.63 for the week, just about a quarter stroke higher than week one's 43.40.
